KeeChat is an IM app that lets you chat with other users from around the world with no restrictions. Just look for another user via the app's very own search option and start chatting away. You don't need to know the person's phone number or how they spell their username beforehand.

To create a KeeChat account you won't need to provide either your phone number or your Facebook or Google profiles. Just pick a username and password and, that done, start chatting with any of the other users.

KeeChat is a messaging app with pluses and minuses. On the one hand it’s really easy to communicate with other people who use the app. On the other hand, it’s TOO easy to communicate with other people who are using the app, which can be problematic. Nevertheless it’s an interesting alternative for anyone who wants to try something different.
